Return & Refund
Overview
Because many of our products are printed on demand specifically for each order, our return policy is focused on items that are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly fulfilled. We make every effort to ensure products meet quality standards; if an issue arises, we will work to resolve it promptly.
Eligibility
- Eligible: Items that are defective (print errors, significant manufacturing defects), incorrect items shipped (wrong product, size, or design), or products damaged during shipping.
- Not Eligible: Items returned solely for change of mind, preference, or sizing if the product page indicates the item is a custom or final-sale product. Some non-custom items may be eligible for return for fit reasons — see individual product pages.
Timeframe
- Report issues within 7 calendar days of delivery by emailing service@tokyofancy.com with your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos showing the defect or error.
- Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.
Return Authorization & Process
- Contact service@tokyofancy.com with your order number, photos, and a description of the problem.
- We will review and, if approved, provide a Return Authorization (RA) and return shipping instructions.
- For approved returns, follow the provided instructions and ship the item using the carrier and address we specify.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will confirm approval for refund or replacement.
Refunds & Replacements
- Refunds: For approved refunds, we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection approval. The time to appear on your account depends on your payment provider.
- Replacements: If you prefer a replacement and the item is available, we will ship a replacement at no additional charge when the return is approved.
- Shipping costs: If the return is due to our error or a defective product, we will cover return shipping. If a return is accepted for non-defect reasons (where allowed), you may be responsible for return shipping and any restocking fees communicated at approval.
Exceptions & Final Sale Items
- Final sale, personalized, or made-to-order items designated as non-returnable on the product page cannot be returned unless they arrive defective or incorrect.
- Promotional items or gifts provided free or at a deep discount may be subject to different return terms disclosed at purchase.
Exchanges
- If you need a different size or color and the item is eligible for exchange, contact service@tokyofancy.com. Exchanges are subject to availability; if an exchanged item costs more, you may be charged the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference.
Fraud Prevention & Abuse
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or issue partial refunds if we suspect return fraud, abuse, or misuse of the returns process.
